Kitchen Worktops
We can provide kitchen worktops in a wide variety of materials, offering functionality and versatility to suit all needs, including natural stones, woods, metals, crafted glass as well as laminate kitchen worktops. Where possible or worktops are made from renewable and sustainable sources.
Kitchen Carcasses
Depending on your choice of material for your kitchen carcasses a variety of finishes can be applied, including paint, varnish or lacquer. Finishes can additionally be distressed, glazed or toned. We provide a design service to allow you to visualise your kitchen layout before commencing.
Kitchen Cupboard Doors
We specialise in manufacturing our Kitchen Cupboard Doors to your specification, ensuring a perfect match to the rest of your kitchen. Doors comprise a frame combined with a decorative panel and can be made from either wood, glass or metal. Door panels are typically left "floating" within the frame, to allow for seasonal expansion and contraction.

Non-toxic Finishing
We use Pure Tung Oil for our finishing. Tung Oil is a hard wearing, water resistant oil for all indoor and outdoor wood.100% natural, non-toxic and food safe.Tung Oil is naturally water, food and alcohol resistant.

Our bespoke kitchens and joinery are truly locally manufactured. This allows us to compete with the main providers in terms of pricing, giving you top-notch quality of materials and finishing.
We apply the same high standards of carpentry to a small bookcase as we do to a suite of walk in wardrobes.
Locally Sourced Materials
We source our timber in Scotland whenever possible. In the recent past we have worked with suppliers in Perth and St Andrews.Our trusted paint provider is The Paint Shed in Edinburgh, as we like to keep things local.

Fraser Joinery
Alan established Fraser Joinery in 2000 and since then it has grown, developed and taken on a number of forms. In 2012 Bespoke Kitchens was born as reaction to the throwaway kitchen culture we seem to be in. Our kitchens are handmade and built to last, in timeless styles.Our customers come first. We get to know you and your needs and will work tirelessly to create what you are looking for within your budget.Our customers are our biggest advocates and the majority of our business comes from repeat custom or recommendations.Why choose us? We source kitchen worktops direct from manufacturers all over Europe. Your kitchen worktop is probably the most important component in your kitchen - it should be durable, heat resistant and hygienic, but should also complement the overall design, matching or contrasting the kitchen cupboard doors, cooker and sinks.We can provide kitchen worktops in a wide variety of materials, offering functionality and versatility to suit all needs, including natural stones, woods, metals, crafted glass as well as laminate kitchen worktops. Where possible or worktops are made from renewable and sustainable sources.We have a wide range of stone, laminate a real wood worktop samples available.
Kitchen Carcasses
All our Kitchen Carcasses are made to order to ensure that you get exactly the size, shape and function to complement your kitchen layout.Our carcasses are available in a choice of materials, including solid wood, plywood and high quality particle board. Where possible we use locally sourced renewable materials.We use a Frameless construction method, where the carcass sides top and bottom provide the structural integrity. This provides better utilisation of space, avoiding stiles and allowing easier access and wider drawers to be incorporated.Depending on your choice of material for your kitchen carcasses a variety of finishes can be applied, including paint, varnish or lacquer. Finishes can additionally be distressed, glazed or toned.
Kitchen Cupboard Doors
We specialise in manufacturing our Kitchen Cupboard Doors to your specification, ensuring a perfect match to the rest of your kitchen.Doors comprise a frame combined with a decorative panel and can be made from either wood, glass or metal. Door panels are typically left "floating" within the frame, to allow for seasonal expansion and contraction.If selecting wood, we offer both solid and veneered engineered wood. Solid wood allows us to produce finer detail on both frames and panels.Where glass doors are selected, the effect can be enhanced by using glass shelves to allow light to reach throughout the cabinet. Concealed interior down-lighting can also make a dramatic impact.It is not always necessary to start from scratch and renew your entire kitchen. We can build doors and panels to fit the carcasses you already have. This can breathe life into your kitchen, less the cost of new units.We also have a budget range of doors available. These too can be made to any size, to suit your existing kitchen.

External DoorsFraser Joinery can provide you with bespoke, made to measure doors for non standard door sizes in a style in-keeping with your home that will increase your kerb appeal.We can also improve the look of your garage with handmade solid wooden doors in the finish of your choice.Internal DoorsWe can create that authentic period look with Victorian or Georgian style, mortise and tenon, panel doors. These can be glazed or unglazed and also be made fire rated. These handmade doors can be made to measure to fit any door frame.

At Fraser Joinery, we have over 20 years experience fitting solid wood, laminate and engineered wood flooring.We will support you in deciding which type of flooring will suit your needs best, be it for home, office or retail. Regardless of the look you aim to achieve, we will source the perfect flooring for you at the best prices.Hard WoodHardwood flooring is made entirely from wood and can be obtained in a variety of species, colours and finishes.BambooBamboo flooring is one of the hardest natural materials available for flooring and is an excellent alternative to hard wood flooring. Bamboo has a higher fibre rating than any hard wood, which gives it exceptional hard wearing qualities. Because bamboo is a rapid growing grass and not wood, it can be harvested every 3-5 years, unlike 15-25 years for most wood. This makes bamboo a very environmentally friendly product for flooring.LaminateLaminate flooring is entirely man made and can either have a wooden or tiled look. Due to the density of the material with which it is made it is very strong and hard wearing.Engineered Wood
Engineered wooden flooring is made of multiple layers of wood specifically engineered to be stronger and more resistant to buckling than real wood. It is finished with a top layer of hardwood which as with hardwood flooring can come in a variety of species and finishes.
